Elizabeth Diffendal
Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Diffendal is Professor Emerita of Anthropology at Evergreen State College. Working alongside Dr. Maxine Mimms, she also played a pivotal role in the early years of Evergreen State College’s Tacoma Campus. In this interview, Diffendal recounts her decades-long collaborations with Maxine Mimms, the founding of the aforementioned campus on the Hilltop, and her various roles at the university and in the community.
